Bakoyannis says Samaras is "the embodiment of hypocrisy," predicts he will form new party

Greek lawmaker and former Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis launched a sharp attack on former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, describing him as "the embodiment of hypocrisy and Phariseeism" and predicting that he will eventually establish a new political party.

Speaking in an interview, Bakoyannis accused Samaras of repeatedly undermining New Democracy and argued that his political actions have damaged the party on multiple occasions. She said she believes his current course is aimed at weakening the governing party from within.

Bakoyannis also expressed confidence that Samaras is preparing to launch his own political movement, suggesting such a step would reshape the dynamics of Greece's center-right political landscape ahead of future elections. Her remarks add to growing speculation over Samaras' political intentions, although the former prime minister has not officially announced plans to form a new party.
