It has been reported that an attack was carried out by unidentified persons against the Imathia Muslims Association in the town of Alexandria in Imathia province

Musa Çolak, religious officer of Imathia Muslims Association founded by Turks immigrating from Western Thrace, said that the attack was carried out on Friday morning when nobody was present. Explaining that the windows in the entrance section were broken in the attack, Çolak stated that the incident was transferred to the police.

Hüseyin Hüseyinoğlu, president of the İmathia Muslims Association, also condemned the attack in the message he published on his social media account:

"I would like to express with regret that an attack was carried out by unknown persons on our association. As the president of the association, I have made attempts and made my statement to the police station on the grounds that the perpetrators were identified in order to ensure the order after the attack. While declaring that we are in favor of unity, solidarity and fraternity, I hope that the authorities will clarify and enlighten the incident as soon as possible."
