Acropolis Museum offering free admission on International Museum Day

The Acropolis Museum will mark International Museum Day on Saturday, May 18 by allowing free admission for all visitors between 9:00 and 20:00 in the evening, while the museum's restaurant will remain open until midnight.

As on every Saturday morning, visitors can enjoy the gallery tour "Saturday in the Museum with 20+1 masterpieces". With the help of archaeologists, visitors can discover the hidden stories of 20+1 selected masterpieces.

Myths and fables, folklores and traditions, historical milestones and human stories transformed into art and spun into a vivid experience, during an outstanding walk through the Museum’s Galleries. Hours: 10:30 in English and 12:30 in Greek. Registration: https://events.theacropolismuseum.gr

On Sunday, 19 May the museum will be open from 08:00 until 21:00 with the normal admission fee. The restaurant will be open from 08:00 until 21:00.
