600 thousand eggs from Izmir to Greece
Anka Egg Company exported 600 thousand eggs to Greece. Keskin Keskinoğlu, the chairman of the board of directors of the company, stated that their Izmir-based production continues and that they will increase the egg capacity to 2 million in the facility on an area of 150 thousand square meters in Ankara's Bala district.
Emphasizing that they succeeded in realizing the first egg export from Turkey to Singapore last year, Keskinoğlu said that they sent 7 million 500 thousand eggs to this country in 6 months.
Explaining that they aim to increase their production capacity, Keskinoğlu gave the following information:
"The number of countries we export eggs to has reached 50. Finally, we have shipped 600 thousand eggs to Greece for the first time. Egg export to Greece, a member of the European Union, is important. Hopefully, we will try to reach more countries in this region.
On the other hand, despite the increase in raw material prices, we continue to deliver eggs, whose cost is 1 Turkish lira and 3 cent, to consumers at 1 Turkish lira and 5 cent. We are also the market leader in many African countries with the “byKeskin” brand.
We export eggs to Malaysia and Singapore, Bahrain, Dubai, Qatar, Kuwait, Libya, Oman and Far East markets, as well as to Maldives, Mauritius and Seychelles.
We hope that the United States, Israel and Hong Kong will open their doors to Turkish eggs as soon as possible during the devoted work of our Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry for a long time."
