A 57-year-old man was found unconscious inside a water trough in the Zarkadia area of Chrysoupoli, northern Greece, on the night of Wednesday, August 26.
According to ENA Channel, the man had gone to the area to water crops when, under circumstances that remain unclear, he ended up inside the trough.
The incident was reported at approximately 10:30 p.m., prompting an immediate response from the authorities and emergency medical services.
The 57-year-old was pulled from the trough unconscious. Despite efforts to revive him, he could not be resuscitated.
