25th March to be celebrated with ceremonies
It has been announced that the March 25 ceremonies, which symbolize the founding and independence of Greece, will be celebrated again after a two-years.
Student parades have not been held for two years due to the pandemic. It was stated that the ceremonies will take place in accordance with the pandemic rules this year.
According to the commemoration ceremony program published by Xanthi State Vice President Kostas Kurtidis, it was noted that the ceremonies will take place on 24 and 25 March in accordance with the pandemic rules.
On Thursday, March 24, speeches will be made in schools based on the meaning of the day.
It was stated that the official parade will start at 12:00 on Friday, March 25 after the religious ceremony and wreath ceremony in the church.
It was emphasized that schools can participate in the official parade with a maximum of 40 students, and that a distance of 1 meter should be observed between the students who will be in the official parade.
It was reminded that those who will participate in the official parade must wear masks and comply with the pandemic rules.
