Hope for Women, Life for Society project starts tomorrow
The project "Hope for Women, Life for Society", carried out jointly by the Western Thrace Minority Graduates Association and the Xanthi Mufti Office, starts on Wednesday, November 9th.
The project, which took place last year under the name of "Being a Woman in the Balkan Arms", is realized this year under the name "Hope for Women, Life for Society".
Women participating in the project will meet with different subjects and experts every week within the framework of the project, which aims to increase the participation of Western Thrace Muslim Turkish Minority women in social life.
Women who will read the books selected within the framework of the project later they will meet with the authors of the books.
The project which will last about 10 weeks will end with a cultural trip.
The project, which took place in the Şahin, Ketenlik and Gökçepınar villages of Xanthi last year, will continue this year in Pasevik, Elmalı and Koyunköy.
“Women Hope, Life for Society” project will start on November 9, 2022 at 15:00 in the village of Pashevik, at 17:00 in the village of Elmalı, and at 18:30 on Friday, November 11 in Koyunköy.
The first week speakers of the project will be Child Health and Diseases Specialist Münevver Ago and Xanthi Mufti Family Services Branch Manager Hülya Giritli.
All women were invited to the event.
