Greece, Bulgaria, Romania advance key trade corridor linking Aegean to Black Sea

The trilateral meeting between Greek Minister Christos Dimas, Bulgarian Deputy PM Grozdan Karadzhov, and Romanian Deputy Minister Ionut Savoiu in Brussels centered on advancing a multimodal transport corridor.

This corridor aims to connect Alexandroupolis in Northern Greece with Black Sea ports and Danube river trade routes through Bulgaria and Romania.

Held under the guidance of EU Commissioner Apostolos Tzitzikostas, the initiative seeks to:

Enhance logistics and trade in Southeastern Europe.

Improve infrastructure interconnectivity between the Aegean and the Black Sea.

Support EU goals for sustainable and resilient transport networks.
