Farm Festival to be held in Mestanlı
The Farm Festival (Farm Fest) will be held for the first time in the town of Mastanlı in Kardzhali, Bulgaria.
The Farm Festival (Farm Fest), which will be organized for the first time in Bulgaria, will be held in the town of Mestanlı (Momçilgrad) on 27 and 28 May.
During the two-day festival, the farmers in the region will gather around the Konak hotel in Mestanlı to show the local animal species they raise.
There will also be stands of beekeepers and local producers.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see and taste how dairy and meat products are prepared at specially designated stands.
Those who wish will be able to purchase the products on display.
The organizers have prepared a rich music program with the intention of ensuring that the participants of the festival have a pleasant time.
A folk wrestling tournament is also planned as part of the festival. The winner of the tournament will be the owner of a sheep trained in the Rhodope montains.
Those who wish from Western Thrace can also attend the 1st Farm Festival for two days.
To promote animals and products at the festival is optional.
It is stated that from those who will participate to the festival from Western Thrace will not be charged a fee. Only the materials necessary for the establishment of the stand required to promote their products will belong to the person who opened the stand.
