Dua Lipa Named Honorary Ambassador of Kosovo
Dua Lipa, born in London, whose parents are of Kosovo descent has been named an Honorary Ambassador of Kosovo. "It is an honor for me to represent my country all over the world," pop-star said.
Vjosa Osmani, President of Kosova "Today I awarded Dua Lipa the title of Honorary Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo because she continues to honor our country every step of the way. I thanked her for everything she did on behalf of all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, for making our voices heard throughout the world" said on the subject.
"It is an honor and privilege for me to be able to represent my country all over the world, to continue my work and efforts on a global scale and to see that we leave a mark and make a difference," Dua Lipa replied via her Instagram account.
Dua Lipa, 26, who has 3 Grammy awards, was born to an Albanian family who immigrated from Kosovo to England. After making her name known to the whole world with her hit songs, she became a source of pride in her country.
