Bulgarian tourist dies while kitesurfing in Rhodes

According to local reports, the woman was using her own kitesurfing equipment when she lost consciousness and fell into the sea under still-unclear circumstances. Alarmed by the incident, nearby beachgoers immediately notified authorities.
A private pleasure boat in the vicinity responded swiftly and recovered the woman from the water. Coast guard personnel and an ambulance team were quickly dispatched to the scene. Despite their efforts to resuscitate her, she was pronounced dead shortly after being pulled from the water.
The Rhodes Port Authority has launched an official investigation into the incident. An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.
